Not the kind of passion that fades. The kind that has you studying products, watching techniques, and noticing every swirl mark and water spot that most people walk right past.
In 2023, that passion became a full-time business. After attending Dr. Beasley's clinic — one of the most respected detailing education programs in the industry — everything clicked. The training, the products, the technique. It confirmed what 35 years of passion had been building toward.
From there, the education didn't stop. Valentine Detailing's owner went on to become an IDA Certified Detailer with Skills Validated — a credential that represents a genuine commitment to professional standards in the detailing industry. Ongoing education through Dr. Beasley's clinics keeps the team current on the latest products, coatings, and techniques as the industry evolves.

The owner of Valentine Detailing was born and raised right here in Walterboro, SC. Small town, tight community, the kind of place where your reputation is everything and word travels fast. That's never been a problem — it's been the foundation.
After spending time networking in the local area, one thing became clear: Walterboro didn't have access to advanced detailing services. Paint correction, ceramic coating, professional marine and RV detailing — the kind of work that car enthusiasts and serious vehicle owners have to drive hours for elsewhere. That gap was an opportunity.
Valentine Detailing was built to fill it. Bringing professional, advanced detailing services to Walterboro and all of Colleton County — without having to leave town to get the quality you deserve.
The business grew quickly, and not through advertising. Word of mouth. Customers who saw the results, showed their friends, and let the work speak for itself. That's still how most of our new business comes in today.

Stephen Valentine Jr.
Stephen Valentine Jr., or “Jr.” moved back to South Carolina in 2024 to be a part of his father’s business and start his career as a detailer. Jr. has a passion for cars and a close eye for detail. He has completed training with Koche Chemie and Owners Pride. He continues to work in the family business and attends classes regularly to stay up to date on providing the best service. Jr. is excited to make a career out of detailing and looks forward to attending more classes in the future.
Heidi Biering
Heidi Biering has been working alongside her dad since the business opened. Heidi is currently enrolled in high school and enjoys working anytime she is not in school. She is passionate and gives 100% with every detail she does. She is particular about the quality of work she provides and takes pride in the end result.
